Automated Categories is compatible with Catalyst.

Catalyst is BigCommerce's Next.js starter for creating a composable storefront.

Automated Categories regularly processes products via API and updates their category assignments. It does not make any changes to the storefront.

In a headless setup, these assignments determine which products the GraphQL Storefront API returns when you query products by category. No additional Automated Categories storefront integration is required.
